Keeping up with FMAS - "like" Manchester Animal Shelter on Facebook! BARN HOMES NEEDED....we have a few feral cats at the shelter that are in need of safe "barn" homes. These cats make great mousers for your barn, horse stable, warehouse, etc. They need to be crated (we will provide cages) in their new barn for 3 weeks so they get used to their new environment. They will need to be fed daily. Feral cats are cats that were born outside and have had no socialization at a young age so they are very fearful of humans. These cats are not aggressive to people, rather they avoid humans. There is no adoption fee for these cats and all cats are spay/neuter, current on rabies and distemper and have tested negative for FIV and Leukemia. The adoption fee for adult cats includes the following: spay or neuter procedure; 1 year Rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional kitten vaccinations will be the responsibility of the adopter..
