Catterfly has been through so much and she is ready for her final, forever home! When she arrived at the shelter in January xxxx, she was thought to be a feral barn-candidate as she would hiss and lunge at people just walking by her cage. With time and love, we realized she is anything but a feral cat! She was just so very scared, poor thing. After learning she could trust us, all she wants now is LOVE! Opening her cage now she will just rub up against you and want to snuggle. She still has her moments and is leery of strangers, but if you go slow and let her make the first move, she will be more than happy to climb into your lap! Catterfly seems to trust cats, dogs and children easily, but is suspicious of adults she doesn't know. We imagine some adult out there wasn't very nice to her before she came to us. Catterfly is very smart, extremely intuitive and even enjoys leading us on walks while on her leash! There is so much to tell about this girl, her story is long enough to fill a novel. If you are a cat savvy person willing to accept our special girl as she is, love her unconditionally and want to hear more about her life, please come to meet her at PetSmart in Manchester at 777 South Willow Street. PetSmart Adoption hours are Monday - Friday 6-8 PM (except Wednesdays) and weekends 1-3 PM. The adoption fee for adult cats includes the following: spay or neuter procedure; 1 year Rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional kitten vaccinations will be the responsibility of the adopter.
