At 7 years young, he still has so much life to live and so badly wants to live that life with his forever family. Hills has been with us since July, a very long time for this guy to be sitting in his cage watching so many other cats go home with loving families. He will do fine with another laid back cat like himself or a laid back dog. When he came to us, he was a very shy guy and didn't know what to think about shelter life. He has made a ton of progress in the months he's been with us. He now likes to come out of his cage and hang out with the volunteers or hang out by the window dreaming of his forever home. It's not in his personality to be playful and reach his paw out of his cage for potential families to notice him. Once you make the first move and show him you are interested in getting to know him, he will come to you for attention. As soon as he feels comfortable with you and knows you will give him affection he will give you kisses. He also loves to have his neck scratched! Once you see how incredibly sweet he is, look into his eyes you will see how badly he wants to be loved. He can't wait to find a human he can love and a lap he can curl up in at the end of the day. He does need a home with no young children as he will give some love bites (could change once he's not in a cage as well). He is a big love can't wait to meet his forever family! The adoption fee for adult cats includes the following: spay or neuter and procedure; 1 year Rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip& and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional kitten vaccinations will be the responsibility of the adopter.
