They were originally southern belles who were just hours away from losing their lives before a wonderful no kill rescue group saved them. Now this dazzling twosome are on a quest to find their happily ever after and we couldnt be more thrilled to assist them on their journey. Madison is only a year old Aussie mix. As you can see Madison has inherited her mothers striking beauty. Arriving as a shy girl she has made an amazing transformation and has emerged into the affectionate, sweet girl we knew she would be. Every day growing more and developing into a young lady her mother is proud of. Wanting nothing more than to be loved she cant want to embark on her next adventure in life! Mia is a gorgeous female Aussie mix, black and white in color at 2-3 years young. She enjoys being in the spotlight for your attention, yet politely and patiently waiting her turn. Dreaming of the nights when she will cozy up on the couch, cuddled close to you chewing on a nice delicious bone. Mom and daughter have been diligently working on their basic obedience skills with the help of their foster family. Currently they have sit mastered and eagerly striving to expand their vocabulary. Never will you ever have a mess in your house since both are completely housebroken. Both our lovely ladies do well other pups and kids over 12 too. Unfortunately they are not cat savvy and are looking for a cat free home. The bond between mother and daughter is a bond like no other so we insist they must be adopted together. Currently spending time in the luxury of a foster home you must complete an application on them prior to getting acquainted with them. Once approved a convenient time for a meet and greet will be arranged. They will be sure to greet you with a smile, offer kisses galore and if you let them sit in your lap they will forever be yours. Mia and Madison arrived early in June from Tennessee. If you are interested in them please stop by the shelter and fill out an adoption application. You and your family will always meet the dog you are applying for prior to finalizing the adoption to make sure this dog is the right fit for your family. You will not be able to meet until you have an approved application as our transport dogs spend time in our great foster homes. Note: As with all of our dogs, we strongly recommend obedience classes for new owner and dog to create a life-long bond with the adopted dog based on trust, respect and rewarding training experiences. We can help you train practical skills you use every day with positive reinforcement training. Our shelter dogs are strays and we observe and assess their behavior at the shelter which may be somewhat different in a home environment. In addition dogs adopted from the Manchester Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have received their Rabies and distemper vaccinations as well as other necessary medical care such as flea treatment. All dogs are also heartworm tested. Some prudent care such as heartworm medication is not provided at the shelter and should be taken care of at the earliest convenience upon adoption.
